About Bethany

At the heart of Anchor & Bloom Farm is a deep belief that healing happens through connection- connection to ourselves, to others, and to the natural world.

I’m Bethany, a Licensed Independent Social Worker (LICSW) with over 20 years of experience supporting individuals on their healing journeys. Throughout my career, I’ve worked with people navigating life transitions, trauma, grief, anxiety, and personal growth, always with the goal of creating a space where clients feel safe, seen, and supported.

Over time, my work naturally expanded beyond traditional office settings. My lifelong love of animals, nature, and herbal wisdom led me to explore more holistic ways of supporting healing. I became a certified herbalist and began integrating nature-informed practices into my work-approaches that encourage slowing down, grounding in the present moment and reconnecting with rhythms of the natural world.

Anchor & Bloom Farm grew from this vision. It is a space where clinical therapy and experiential learning come together through nature, animals, mindfulness and creative exploration.

Here, therapy may include a quite reflection outdoors, interaction with animals, learning about plant medicine or engaging the senses in ways that support regulation and growth. Workshops and group experiences are also offered to help people reconnect with themselves and their environment in meaningful ways.

My approach is compassionate, collaborative, and rooted in the belief that everyone has the capacity to heal and grow when given the right support.

At Anchor & Bloom Farm, my hope is to offer a place where people can feel grounded, rediscover their inner strength, and begin to bloom.
